The electronic boards of the Rogue ET181i are protected by a special coating that insulates them from moisture and dust (IP23S protection). TIG welding allows you to weld thin thicknesses that you could not achieve with an electrode in MMA mode.

TIG welding mode requires the use of a shielding gas during the welding operation (pure Argon).

Arc striking is achieved by touching the tip of the tungsten electrode to the metal workpiece and lifting it slightly to create the welding arc (TIG-LIFT striking method).

It features protection (+/- 15% variation) against electrical overloads, allowing it to be powered by a generator. However, the generator must supply a stabilized current.
