Description

Sensitivity adjustment is possible using the button located inside the welding helmet.

The "Delay" function allows adjustment of the transition time from dark to light in order to protect the welder's eyes from residual glare after welding ends. The MAX setting (1 s) is particularly recommended for high-current applications and for TIG (GTAW) welding to prevent the filter from opening if the light beam is temporarily obstructed by the hand, torch, etc. The MIN setting (0.1 s) is recommended for tacking applications.
The "Sensitivity" function allows adjustment of the filter sensitivity according to the welding process and ambient light. The "HI" (High) setting is recommended for all welding operations and, in particular, for those at low amperage or in poorly lit environments. The "LO" (Low) setting is recommended only in the presence of specific ambient lighting conditions to avoid any unwanted activation (caused for example by direct sunlight, intense artificial light, or a nearby welding generator).

The Sacit® mask range is equipped with the TRUE COLOR system, a filter coating technology that provides a sharper and clearer vision, always closer to reality.
Standard filter True color filter
Thanks to better contrast, the operator will be able to see the weld pool more clearly and work with greater precision. The TRUE COLOR system allows the operator to more easily distinguish objects in the work area and experience less eye fatigue, even during all operational phases that precede or follow welding.

The TIGER TOP welding helmet is equipped with an automatic STAND-BY mode activation system. When the light intensity is below 3 lux, the filter switches off automatically and consumption drops below 1uA (SLEEPMODE). When the light intensity exceeds 10 lux, the filter activates automatically by entering STAND-BY mode. The automatic STAND-BY system enables energy savings and better environmental preservation.
